At Presidency Higher Secondary School (Elite), students are guided to follow principles of discipline, respect, responsibility, and academic excellence. The guidelines below ensure a safe, positive, and growth-oriented learning environment.

✔ DO’s

  • Attend school regularly and on time.
  • Wear the prescribed school uniform neatly every day.
  • Carry ID Card daily.
  • Show respect to teachers, staff, and classmates.
  • Maintain cleanliness in classrooms and campus.
  • Complete classwork, homework, and assignments diligently.
  • Speak politely and maintain good manners at all times.
  • Use library, lab, and school facilities responsibly.
  • Follow classroom instructions and safety rules strictly.
  • Take care of school property and report any damages immediately.

✘ DON’Ts

  • Do not bring mobile phones, smart watches, pendrives, cameras, or any gadgets.
  • Do not damage or misuse school property (walls, desks, equipment).
  • Do not use abusive language or engage in bullying or teasing.
  • Do not bring money, valuables, cosmetics, or jewellery.
  • Do not roam the campus without permission.
  • Do not be absent without prior permission or leave during class hours.
  • Do not involve in groupism, misconduct, rumours, or social media misuse.
  • Do not bring chewing gum, unhealthy items, weapons, or sharp objects.

Student's Corner

Students must maintain discipline, respect, and good conduct while using the Student’s Corner by following school rules, respecting teachers and fellow students, and behaving in a responsible and courteous manner at all times.

Discipline Policies

  • Students must maintain good conduct inside and outside the campus.
  • Severe actions such as violence, cheating, forgery, vandalism, or misconduct may lead to suspension or dismissal.
  • Habitual absentees or students failing to follow rules will be given disciplinary action.
  • Speaking English in campus is compulsory to improve communication.
  • Students must follow classroom, lab, library, and assembly rules strictly.

Lab Rules (Science & Computer Labs)

  • Enter labs only under supervision of teachers.
  • Handle all materials, chemicals, and equipment with care.
  • Follow safety guidelines and wear protective gear when required.
  • Do not touch apparatus without instruction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and switch off all equipment after use.
  • Report breakages or accidents immediately to the lab assistant or teacher.

Library Rules

  • Maintain silence inside the library at all times.
  • Books must be handled carefully and returned on time.
  • Writing or tearing pages is strictly prohibited.
  • Personal belongings should be kept outside the reading area.
  • Reference books should not be taken out of the library.
  • Students must maintain proper discipline while using digital resources.

ID Card Rules

  • Wearing the school ID card is compulsory every day.
  • Students must present the ID during exams, events, and while using school transport.
  • Lost ID cards must be reported and replaced immediately.
  • ID cards should not be defaced, damaged, or altered in any way.

Prohibited Items

The following are strictly banned inside the school campus:

  • Weapons, sharp objects, fireworks.
  • Beauty products, cosmetics, jewellery.
  • Chewing gum, energy drinks, junk items.
  • Posters, banners, political materials.

  • Any item harmful to safety or discipline.
