About Us

Presidency Higher Secondary School embarked on its educational journey on June 9, 1997 as a High School. The first batch of students appeared for the S.S.L.C. Examination in March 2003, achieving a remarkable 100% success rate, setting a strong foundation for academic excellence. In June 2005, the Auxilium Educational Society took over the administration of the school, bringing with it a vision rooted in dedication, service, and excellence. Presidency High School was elevated to the status of a Higher Secondary School in June 2012, offering A1, A2 and A3 academic streams.

With a successful legacy of 18 years in education, Presidency has expanded its vision by establishing a new branch—Presidency Higher Secondary School (Elite)—under the management of Vailankanni Youth Welfare Academy Trust. Upholding the motto "LUMEN AD VIEM" (Enlightening Life), Presidency Elite symbolizes excellence in education, skill development, and intellectual growth. Since its inception in 2022, the Elite branch has achieved 100% pass rates in all board examinations and proudly produced the State First Rank in the 2024–2025 academic year, with a remarkable score of 596 out of 600. The institution continues to march forward with a vision of cultivating outstanding achievements and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
